We’re excited to announce that we have two key members of our Canadian leadership team starting in new positions on October 1st, 2024.
Mark MacKenzie will add to his current responsibilities by taking on the role of Regional Manager for British Columbia. Mark has been an integral part of our management team, starting his career with our organization in 1998 as a Service Manager at BC Belting in Prince George. In 2004, he successfully established our Kamloops branch from the ground up and later transitioned into a national role as National Service Manager, where he played a key role in developing our Belt Technician Apprenticeship Program. Most recently, since 2018, Mark has done a great job leading our Alberta team as Regional Manager, helping us to continue to improve our operations and expand our service offering to the market. His vast experience and leadership skills will benefit our BC region. Mark will also continue to look after the Alberta region in the interim.
Martin Guillemette, our current Regional Manager of BC, will be taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development – Canada. He joined the company in 1997 as an Inside Sales representative in Delta, BC. He eventually became the Kelowna Branch Manager and was promoted to the role of Regional Manager for BC in 2018. Besides providing leadership, he has made significant contributions to multiple acquisitions, MRO Agreements, and Operational Projects. His move to the VP role is a natural progression, and we’re excited to see him continue to make an impact on our growth and development as an organization.
Both Mark and Martin have been with us for over 25 years, and throughout their careers, they’ve honed their leadership skills, taken on increasingly progressive roles, and developed outstanding careers with Viacore.
